Ashley is a solo practitioner who opened her own law firm, The Goins Law Group, directly after graduating from law school. At her firm, she focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Business Law, Landlord-Tenant issues, and Contract drafting. She currently represents two large businesses in the Oklahoma City area, as well as many individual clients with diverse needs. While managing her solo practice, she also contributes locally as a real estate investor and legal consultant in the metro area. It was only through her diverse work experiences in law school that Ashley felt confident enough to hang her own shingle.

Ashley completed her Juris Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2017. She was awarded a certificate each year in law school for completing extensive Pro Bono hours and received an American Jurisprudence Award for exemplary performance in a course. Her educational background also includes a degree in Linguistics and she is currently pursuing a Master’s program in Egyptology through the University of Manchester.

While pursuing her legal degree, Ashley worked with Oklahoma Indian Legal Services, Inc. drafting and executing Wills for tribal members across Oklahoma. She was also able to assist in Guardian ad Litem cases and was involved with the drug court of the Citizen Potawatomi tribe. This experience led her to complete a certificate in Federal Indian Law. In addition to her work with OILS, Ashley worked on both the prosecution and the defense side of criminal law; assisted military veterans in appealing benefit denials; gained valuable experience in personal injury law; and volunteered as a domestic violence victim’s advocate.

Alongside her legal work, Ashley is conversationally fluent in French, Spanish and German. She is particularly focused on increasing her skills in Spanish in order to assist Spanish-speaking clients with legal issues.
